Howard Purcell (10 novembre 1918 - 24 avril 1981) Dessinateur et scénariste américain de comics actif depuis l'âge d'or des comics des années 1940 jusqu'à l'âge d'argent des années 1960.
Howard Purcell a dessiné de nombreux récits parus dans Tales of the Unexpected, House of Mystery, House of Secrets, My Greatest Adventure, Strange Adventures et Mystery in Space traduits en français chez Arédit/Artima dans Big Boy, Big Boss, Aventures Fiction, Sidéral, etc.
Son travail dans les années 1960 comprend les dessins de la série DC Sea Devils.
